Alexander Marion DRENNAN, born 1815 in South Carolina, died 17 February 1893 in Big Creek (Jones) Mississippi. Alexander married Martha Ann HOLMES, born 14 March 1818 in Selma, Alabama, died 7 March 1899 in Big Creek (Jones) Mississippi. They were married on 8 March in 1843 in (Dallas) Alabama. Both are buried in Big Creek Cemetery in Soso (Jones) Mississippi. Alexander owned and operated a cotton gin near Soso (Jones) Mississippi.

Wesley Hall DRENNAN, the eighth child of John and Mary Jane, married Garnet Vera LIVINGSTON on 18 May 1918 in Cohay (Smith) Mississippi. Wes was born 22 November 1895 in Service (Jones) Mississippi and died in a railroad accident 19 October 1946, in Laurel (Jones) Mississippi. He was an engineer with the railroad for the Eastman Gardner lumber mills. Garnet was born 7 August 1903 in Wisner (Jones) Mississippi and died 3 March 1986 in Laurel (Jones) Mississippi.
